August 10, 2017, All Day @ Eastside Enhancement Center
The goal is to eradicate poverty in Dinwiddie County! The question is "how"? We must begin by gaining a better understanding of how and why people live in poverty. We must develop a new perspective - a new set of lenses through which we view the issue. Change must begin in the community. Will you help?
"Bridges Out of Poverty" has taken the Country by storm. Using this model, communities across America are working together to address an issue that is all too prevalent...poverty. Join Dinwiddie County leaders and community members as we take the first step toward achieving our goal of eradicating poverty in Dinwiddie County.
The training is FREE but space is limited. Please contact Rosa Mastracco, Director of Social Services, to reserve your place at the table. RSVP by calling: 804-469-4524 ext. 1103.
