Board of Supervisors
The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of the County of Dinwiddie. There are five members of the Board and each represents one of five Districts. Board members, in partnership with County staff, work to ensure the delivery of services and programs essential to the continued prosperity of the Dinwiddie County region.
The Board adopts the annual budget, adopts ordinances, approves contracts, determines land use, appoints certain county officials (including the County Executive and County Counsel), and appoints members to various boards and commissions.
The five-Member Dinwiddie County Board of Supervisors meets every third Tuesdays of each month beginning at 3:00 p.m.
