Payment of Traffic Fines

RECKLESS DRIVING TICKETS ARE NOT PRE-PAYABLE

You will have to come to court for reckless driving infractions or greater
In order to pre-pay it must be a speeding infraction or lesser.
Pre-Payments must be made 24 hours prior to your court date.

The General District Court will now accept payments for prepayable and post court payments via Phone, Mail or Internet. For instuctions on paying prepayment traffic cases and post court cases via the internet click the link below.

Payments must be received within 15 days following your court date to prevent the suspension of your operator's/driver's license for failure to pay. Payments made in accordance with “time to pay” or deferred payment agreements are due on the agreed upon date. If the court has not received your payment within 40 days following your court date, your account will begin to accrue interest and will be sent to collection. The total amount due will include the interest posted to your account. You will need to call General District Court for you interest payment.
