Soccer Program Description


Learn dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork. This league is designed for boys and girls ages 4-18 years old. Games and practices will be held at the Southside Historic High School, Eastside Enhancement Center, and Dinwiddie County Sports Complex soccer fields. 12U, 14U and 18U will travel out of the county for some games. Instructors: Volunteer Coaches

Age Group Update

Instructional: 4,5,6

9u: 6,7,8,9 *6 year olds will have the option of playing instructional or 9u 

12u: 10,11,12

14u: 13,14

18u: 15,16,17,18

Fall Season
 Ages: 4-18 years old | Age Cut-Off: December 31, 2025

Rates: There are two different versions of this activity for Spring Soccer 2025: 
Season: August through November

Standard League Registration: May to July 2025 *Multi-Child Discount Applies - Save $10 per additional registrant

1) Fall Soccer 2025 (DOESN'T NEED JERSEYS) – Players returning from the Spring Soccer 2025 season with both a USABLE red AND navy jersey will sign up for this version of the activity. This activity will include a $35 activity fee and a $0 jersey fee. All additional fees apply (Late Fee: $10, Non-Resident Fee: $10, Early Bird Discount: $10 off, Multi-Child Discount: $10 off per additional child during standard registration). If the participant later realizes they are in need of new jerseys; they will be charged a $30 jersey fee.

2) Fall Soccer 2025 (NEED JERSEYS) – Any players that did not participate in Spring Soccer 2025 (New players, players that skipped a season, etc.) AND/OR players that require NEW jerseys for any reason will sign up for this version of the activity. This activity will include a $35 activity fee and a $30 jersey fee. All additional fees apply (Late Fee: $10, Non-Resident Fee: $10, Early Bird Discount: $10 off, Multi-Child Discount: $10 off per additional child during standard registration)



Spring Season 
 Ages: 4-18 years old | Age Cut-Off: December 31, 2025

Youth Soccer Rules & Regulations

Parent Requests:

Due to the high number of ride share and practice day requests we receive each season, if you have a request please send it to athletics@dinwiddieva.us 

Requests include: 1) Any siblings that need to be on the same age group team 2) Any ride share / car pooling needs due to medical issues 3) We will NOT accept requests for specific coaches however, we will honor requests to not have a specific coach. Please note that we will NOT accept requests for specific practice nights. 

Please note that due to high enrollment of programs and the need for multiple fields, different age groups will be practicing/playing games at different locations. It is possible that siblings in different age groups might have a practice or game at the same time in a different location.
