Program Description
This program is designed for participants to learn many different aspects of wrestling, including takedowns, escapes, turns, and much more. This program is hosted at 144BJJ in Dinwiddie County and Instructed by the owner Coach Santiago! This will be his 2nd year as the head coach with Dinwiddie County Wrestling!  Instructors: Volunteer Coaches 

Ages: 5-12 year olds / Age Cut-Off: January 1, 2025
Resident Rate: $65.00 per participant / Non-Resident Rate: $75.00 per participant
Season: December through February

Early Bird Registration: September 22, 2025 to October 5, 2025 (Receive $10.00 off in-person & online)
Standard League Registration: October 6, 2025 to October 31, 2025

  1. Where are wrestling practices going to be held?

  1. When is the first practice?

The first practice is expected to take place on Monday, November 17th


  1. When will participants receive a game schedule?

Game schedules will be handed out following practices beginning by Coach Santiago


  1. Where are the matches located?

Matches will be at multiple locations. This season will be treated like an individual sport, not a team sport so matches are based on individual availability. Coach Santiago will explain further!


  1. When will I receive my uniform and USA card?

Following the completion of registration, uniforms and USA card orders will be submitted and handed out at practices


  1. How many days a week are practice?

Up to 5 days a week! 5pm to 6pm Monday thru Friday – Practices will be treated as “come when you can”


  1. Is wrestling a co-ed sport?

Yes and No. Wrestling is typically male vs. male or female vs. female but there will be times where a weight class doesn’t have multiple males or females and athletes will have to cross over
