The mission of Dinwiddie County Public Schools is to provide each student the opportunity to become a productive citizen, engaging the entire community in the educational needs of our children.

Led by Superintendent Kari Weston, EdD, Dinwiddie County Public Schools educates 4,400 students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. The division includes five elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school.

Dr. Weston believes that all students should have access to high-quality educational programs that are aligned with current state standards/frameworks and to instructional practices that yield the highest levels of student achievement, instructional excellence, and community support in all subject areas.

Dinwiddie County Public Schools enjoys full accreditation through the Virginia Department of Education and offers a diverse curriculum to meet the needs of all students.
